The lights on your modem show that your cable modem is working and receiving a signal. You’ll find it’s easy to connect your cable modem to the Internet and then your computer wirelessly to your modem. Once set up, you don’t have to think much about it afterward – unless for some reason you can’t connect to the Internet, aren’t seeing any lights on your modem, or may have to reconnect after a power outage. To better know the workings of your cable modem, find your model from the list welcome guide.
Note: Due to frequent power outages in our region, it’s good to plug your modem into a power bar or UPS to prevent or reduce any potential service interruption or damage to your modem.
