The lights on your modem show that your modem is working and receiving a signal. You’ll find it’s easy to connect your modem to the Internet and then your computer wirelessly to your modem. Once set up, you don’t have to think much about it afterward – unless for some reason you can’t connect to the Internet, aren’t seeing any lights on your modem, or may have to reconnect after a power outage. To better know the workings of your DSL modem, find your model in the welcome guide.
Note: Due to frequent power outages in our region, it’s good to plug your modem into a power bar or UPS to prevent or reduce any potential service interruption or damage to your modem.
