If you're experiencing issues with your remote, check to ensure that the batteries are working.

My TV won't respond to my remote. What can I do?

Try these steps:

1) Make sure the remote is in Cable mode: The remote must be in Cable mode to control the receiver or medial player. On your Northwestel remote, look for the Cable button. If another input button has been pushed by mistake, the remote is trying to control another device.

2) Unplug your receiver: You may need to unplug your TV receiver or media player from power for at least 30 seconds, then plug it back again. It may take a few minutes to reload the guide.
